Making a Purchase

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Modifying your order

You are free to contact us to change your order any time before we ship your item. If you would like to add an item, we reserve the right to add the additional postage cost as laid out on our our Shipping and Handling page as well as a small fee (30p) to cover the additional flat rate base charge that we must pay for each transaction. This will typically only be applied for very small value additions where the payment of the base fee would leave us out of pocket. If the increase to your order is significant and puts you into the free shipping band, then the shipping you initially paid will be applied to your order.

Equally, if you reduce the value of your order, you are legally entitled to a refund should you wish it, however we'd ask that you consider a credit voucher as we do not receive a refund for the transaction fees that we've had to pay on your order.

Backorders/Split shipments

If we don't have your item in stock, we'll let you know asap and let you decide how you wish to proceed. Typically, we will send what we can and the rest will follow as soon as possible. You have the right to cancel the remaining part of your order (see Modifying Your Order) or request a substitute.

Tax Charges

We are registered for VAT in England. 

Credit Card Security

We use SagePay (Opayo) and Worldpay to process credit and debit card payments. 

You may also choose to pay via Paypal. Paypal are very safe and fully compliant. 
In either case, we never see your credit card details. Any card details taken over the phone are entered directly into a virtual terminal. We are not able to keep credit card details on file and are not held in clear text on any web site.
