The Big City Christmas series is a new series from Country Cottage Needleworks in 7 parts. It is ready to ship now.
The designs each have a stitch count of 59w x 71h or 72h. If the entire series is stitched together, as shown, it has a stitch count of 413w x 72h and you will stitch each chart right next to each other with no spaces in between.
The fabric used is Permin (Wichelt) 32 count Lambswool Linen. You could also use 28 or 30ct. You will need to order a skinny 1/4 (4 skinny). As there is back-stitched lettering, we don't suggest using higher counts like 35 or 40ct.
The series uses flosses from Classic Colorworks. If all of the designs are stitched, a total of this many skeins of floss will be needed: Snowball (3), Little Sprout (2), Onion Skin (2), Licorice Red (2), Hickory Sticks (2), Baking Tin (2), Eggshell (2), Wagon Wheel (1), Cocoa Bean (1), Thundercloud (1), and Cherry Tomato (1). One each of DMC 743, 754, and 3064. DMC alternatives for the Classic Colorworks threads are provided on the charts.
