Country Cottage Needleworks - Big City Christmas - Part 1 - Department Store

This pattern is the first part in a 7 part series.

Fabric

The model was stitched on Permin 32ct Lambswool but 28 or 30ct would work, too. As the patterns use backstitched lettering, we don't suggest 36 or 40ct.

Each pattern can be stitched on its own or altogether on a single piece of fabric.

Singly, each piece finishes about 3.5" x 4.5" on 32ct fabric. A fat 1/16 (or 1 fat) will be fine.

Altogether in a row, with no gaps between, the 7 patterns will finish 4.5" x 26" (order a skinny 1/4 or "4 skinny").

Thread

If you intend to stitch the entire set, you can find a thread pack here. You will also need DMC 743, 754 and 3064.

DMC alternates are given in the pattern.
